Compiled by the Motorcycle and Model Railroad Museum of Wisconsin, the 20th edition of the Comprehensive Vintage Motorcycle Price Guide contains over 160,000 prices for over 105 different motorcycle marques in six different conditions.

Through hundreds of hours of research and data entry, formed by the opinions and data gathered by more than 450 worldwide dealers, auctioneers, collectors, and experts in the vintage field, this is the most accurate price guide available for vintage motorcycles. It also contains more data than any other, as all major marques (and many lesser-known marques) are included with data through 2004. To help determine rarity and value, MRMW continues to add manufacturing quantities for each model as we obtain new information.

This guide also includes data for the very early years of some of the marques that go unreported elsewhere. New in this edition is several marques not covered by previous editions.

Great book. I’ve found almost ever estimate to be low compared to recent online sales- but still a good reference.

Price Guide

Prompt delivery of the Vintage Price Guide. Thanks.
Usefullness is TBD. It is indeed very "comprehensive". It seemingly lists every bike ever built! I'm just not sure what the linkage is going to be between this guide and an actual sale price. "No, you have to pay me $15k, that's what the Price Guide says!" Maybe it would help in an appraisal negotiation. Maybe it will keep me from over-paying on my next project bike. Anyway, it's an interesting listing of all the models, if nothing else.

I have been relying on this guide for over 10 years for both buying and selling vintage Japanese bikes. Never leave home without it!
